Post- Truth
what is post-truth?
In 2016, Oxford Dictionaries chose post-truth as its word of the year, defining it as shorthand for “circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief”.

Oxford Dictionaries announced its word of the year for 2016 and earlier it's not part of the vernacular or as recognizable as the runners-up like "alt-right," "adulting," "woke," and "Brexiteer," then we recognize how it played a major role in the election of Donald Trump.
Post-truth is a reworking of the much discredited Marxist notion of ‘false consciousness’ that was based on the notion that there is one living truth centred on the wisdom of those who are sufficiently enlightened. It assumes that there is only one objective truth and that the debate between the half-full and half-empty can be settled conclusively and objectively.
